“ This place is really small inside with a few tables to dine and bar seating for tempura bowls while the other side has a line for onigiri that allows a few people in at a time. Over a dozen onigiri to choose from. We got unagi sansho which is grilled eel, spam egg, and chicken omurice which is chicken fried rice with omelette. The spam egg was the least favorite because of the sauce. I liked the eel, it had the perfect saltiness w the amount of rice. The chicken omurice was cute but meh. The shiso leaf is eatable, it’s like Japanese basil. It also helps separates the content from the rice so it doesn’t become soggy. Some items were running low but they refilled while we were in line. If we come back, I would like to try the tempura and other onigiris. ”
“ They give you a basket to fill it with onigiris. The onigiris(rice balls) were ok. Some better than others. The salmon rice ball was very salty. They make really good tempura, the fish was beautifully cooked and seasoned. ”
“ I thought I had reviewed this place already but I guess not. This isn’t the biggest restaurant, but it gets packed and looks nice inside. In the front they sell these Onigiri, and they are so good! There are many different types so you should be able to find one that you like. We always get the Chasiu, and the Spicy Mentaiko. I heard they have really good limited amount (first come first serve) bowls that have crab and uni, but I could never be able to get here early with kids. Maybe if I was to take a separate trip. Remember to go earlier or they may sell out of certain Onigiri just like you see in my photos. Wished a place like this exists in LA (hint hint to the owners). Can’t wait to come back ”
“ Chamon is hands down the best onigiri game in town—and it’s not even close. These rice balls are next-level: perfectly seasoned, thoughtfully filled, and lovingly pressed into handheld bites of joy. We’ve popped in three separate times just to snag a few to-go, because once you try the salmon or omurice-filled versions, you’re hooked. It’s like comfort food took a trip to Japan and only brought back the best. But on our most recent visit, we finally grabbed a coveted table (only about a dozen seats, so it’s no small feet) and were able to sit down for the full tempura experience. And let me tell you—it did not disappoint. The tempura was crispy without being greasy, and the seafood was fresh and well-executed. We tried one of the set plates and appreciated the variety—not just shrimp or veggie basics, but snow crab, maitake mushrooms, shiso leaf, and more showcase the refined execution of their menu. Chamon is charming in every sense—tiny, welcoming, and focused on doing a few things exceptionally well. Whether you’re popping in for some of the city’s best onigiri or sticking around for a full tendon bowl, you’re in for something special. Just don’t expect a sprawling menu or glitzy setting—this place is all about flavor, warmth, and a quiet confidence that comes from knowing they’ve nailed it. ”
“ Came here for lunch at noon, they had a wait list. So we waited an hour, finally sat down. The service was quick and to the point. The food was exceptionally good just like dining in JAPAN. All the chefs came from Japan. I will definitely come back when visiting Vegas. ”
“ This place has officially become one of my go-to spots in Vegas Every time I visit, it’s a must. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and honestly… they have the best onigiris I’ve ever had! The variety is amazing from simple classics like egg & ketchup to more elevated options with pork, salmon, or marinated meats I even got to seat down and tried a mixed tempura bowl with rice this time and it was chef’s kiss They have a few tables inside, and we were lucky enough to grab one! Seating is limited, so expect a bit of a wait during peak lunch hours — but it’s 100% worth it. ???? Parking: Easy and plenty Seating: Small space, cozy vibe Overall: A hidden gem I wish I could share with everyone… but also want to keep a secret ”
“ The best Tempura I've had outside of Tokyo! The restaurant is small and there will be a wait to get a table , even for 2 people. Well worth the wait. Tried the Tempura Deluxe and Premium plates. Also tried out the origiri. So delicious! ”
